The product challenge was to use an alpha set. I used Pink Reptile Designs "Simple Thngs" and applied a white edged style to it.

TLP Scraplift Challenge

This was a scraplift challenge from The Lilypad. I had to search for a pennant custom shape to mask with paper but now I'm glad I took the time to find it b/c I'm sure I'll use it again and again. I'm loving the font

I used. I had it created with my own handwriting. It's a bit sloppy, a bit uneven....and totally me!

This is the first page of my Project Life 8.5x11 weekly project that I am doing. At the end of the year I will a binder of all my pages in plastic protectors. What a fun project!

TLP One Word Challenge

The challenge was to scrap a non-photo LO with our OLW (one little word) for 2012. My word is "simplify". I want to de-stress,de-clutter...in a word....simplify...in my life, in my photography biz...in every way. Even in my scrapbooking I am simplifying my style so that I can get quickly my pages done and showcase my photos (instead of letting them sit on the HD never to be seen). Simplifying my life...it just seems the right thing to focus on this year.

Some scrap friends and I are doing a scraplift challenge amongst ourselves and I picked a photography

friend, Tori, to scraplift from. Her style is similar to mine, lots of clean lines, empty space and the focus is on the images.

Just Chillin'

I created this layout for a challenge over at The Lilypad. This sweet little guy is the son of one of my daughter's childhood friends. The girls are all grown now, married and have children of their own. I can still remember them as young girls, playing in the courtyard at our apartment building. Time sure does fly.
